2. Deleting your account and its data

Email privacy@audiencedirect.com.au with the subject Data Deletion Request, from the email address on the account, and include:

• Your full name
• The email address your account uses
• A statement that you want your account and personal information deleted

Sending from the account's own address is the quickest way for us to confirm the request is really yours. If you cannot, tell us and we will verify your identity another way — we will only ask for what is necessary to be satisfied it is you.

What we delete

• Your profile, contact details and business details
• Your login credentials and any enrolled second factor
• Saved audiences, search criteria and campaign records
• Connections to advertising accounts, and the access tokens behind them

What we keep, and why

We cannot delete everything, and we would rather say so than promise otherwise:

• Transaction and tax records — invoices and payment records are kept for five years, as Australian tax law requires.
• A suppression record — if you have also opted out of the marketing database, we keep the minimum needed to keep you out of it. Deleting that would mean re-adding you at the next data update.
• Records we are legally required to retain, or that we need to establish or defend a legal claim.

Anything retained is kept only for that purpose, and is destroyed or de-identified afterwards.

3. Data obtained through Facebook Login

If you signed in with Facebook, we received your name and email address from Meta. We never receive your Facebook password.

To remove it:

1. Remove our app from your Facebook account: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, select zzippr.audiencedirect.com.au, then remove it. This stops Meta sending us anything further.
2. Email privacy@audiencedirect.com.au with the subject Facebook Data Deletion to have what we already hold deleted. Include the name and email address on the Facebook account so we can find the record.

Step 1 alone stops future sharing but does not delete what we already have, which is why step 2 exists.

4. How long it takes

We acknowledge requests promptly and complete them within 30 days. If a request is complex and we need longer, we will tell you before the 30 days are up, explain why, and give you a date. We will confirm in writing when it is done.

Deleting your data is free.

5. If we cannot do what you asked

If we refuse a request, in whole or in part, we will tell you in writing which parts, why, and how to complain. You can complain to us at privacy@audiencedirect.com.au, and if you are not satisfied, to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
